2025 Veteran Giveaway
At Liberty Roofing Pros, we believe some sacrifices can never truly be repaid, only honored with sincere gratitude and meaningful acts of kindness. That is why our annual Veteran Roof Giveaway holds such a special place in our hearts. Each year, we are privileged to give back to a veteran whose service has helped protect the freedoms we all enjoy. In 2025, we are deeply honored to recognize E. Joseph Thompson of the United States Navy is this year’s recipient. For our team, being able to provide Joseph with a new roof is a small but heartfelt way of saying thank you for his commitment, his sacrifice, and the example he represents in our community. It is a reminder that behind every uniform is a story, a family, and a legacy of service that deserves to be honored.
2024 Veteran Giveaway
We are proud to give back to those who served through our annual Veteran Roof Giveaway, selecting a deserving veteran for a new roof each year. 2024 was special: We honored Tim Esterly, a retired Air Force veteran from Boardman, Ohio, who served 10 years after graduating from Fitch in 1984. Nominated by his daughter, Tim was surprised on Veteran’s Day—his birthday—with a free roof from Liberty Roofing Pros. Owner Abner Miller said, “We appreciate his service… it was pretty awesome telling him, you’re getting a free roof along with happy birthday.” Tim replied, “I am really appreciative… I can’t believe it.” We’re excited to share this and support veterans!

We are proud to give back to those who have served our country through our annual Veteran Roof Giveaway. Each year, we select a deserving veteran to receive a new roof as a token of our gratitude for their service. 2023’s giveaway was particularly special, and we’re excited to share it with you.

How the Veterans Roof Giveaway Works
Nomination
The program begins with nominations. We invite family members, friends, neighbors, and the community to nominate deserving veterans who require a new roof.
Selection
Our team carefully reviews all nominations and selects a veteran who has demonstrated outstanding service, faced hardship, or is in dire need of a roof replacement.
Roof Replacement
Once a recipient is selected, we will provide a complete roof replacement, ensuring that their home remains safe, secure, and comfortable.
Quality Workmanship
Rest assured, the roofing work will be carried out by our experienced professionals, using top-quality materials, to ensure the new roof stands the test of time.
No Cost to the Veteran
The selected veteran will receive the new roof at absolutely no cost to them. This is our way of saying thank you for their service and sacrifice.
